The online workshop is a live stream of our physical session, so you'll be fully involved in all activities. If you have questions, you can submit them via our Q-card system, our online coaches will respond to you in real time. We also open breakout rooms before the workshop begins if you'd like to speak with a coach directly. To ensure a more engaging experience, we do require online students to keep their video camera on throughout the workshop.

Each intake averages around 86 students. We maintain a strong support ratio of 1 coach for every 12 students.

The content is exactly the same for both formats, as the sessions are conducted concurrently. Support is also provided in both formats:

• For physical class, we maintain a student-to-coach ratio of 1:12.
• For online class, the ratio is around 1:30, with our dedicated coaches responding to questions submitted through the Q-card system in real time.

We recommend the physical option if:

1. You value face-to-face interactions and networking
2. You learn better in an in-person environment without screen fatigue
3. Your home internet is not stable
4. You need more hands-on guidance, especially platform and tech support

You can start with GIX first, then proceed with the Trend & Swing Trading (TST) program later. Just keep in mind that the upgrade will be charged at the ala-carte price. Feel free to chat with us for more details. 

No, you need to complete GIX before enrolling in TST. GIX builds the essential foundations you'll rely on in TST, including:

• Fundamental Analysis - Learn how to narrow down over 6,000 stocks to 20+ potential growth stocks
• Technical Analysis - Understand how to identify effective entry and exit points
• Money Management - Develop skills to manage your capital and risk

It depends on your commitment, consistency, and discipline. On average, it takes 1 to 3 years to develop the skills needed for sustainable and consistent returns. Some students do see results sooner—usually those who are fully committed and follow the process diligently.

This isn’t a get-rich-quick path, but a lifelong skill that can serve you for decades when built on the right foundation.

It varies by individual and depends on the effort you put in. Typically:

• For long-term investing, you can get started as soon as you’ve completed your research and analysis.
• For short-term trading, we recommend you to do at least 25 paper trades with consistent results before going live with real capital. Most students take around 3 to 6 months of consistent practice to feel ready.

Our program equips you with a structured, step-by-step approach, along with a process map to guide you. Confidence comes with practice — the more you apply what you’ve learned, the more comfortable and capable you’ll become.

Technically, you can open a brokerage account and start investing with as little as USD 100 or MYR 100.  However, for more meaningful results, most of our students aim for around USD 2,500 to USD 10,000, depending on whether they’re focusing on long-term investing or active trading.

But more importantly—as cliché as it sounds—your first real investment should be in yourself. Without the right skills, even a large capital won’t last long.

What matters most isn’t how much you start with, but whether you have the skills to grow it safely. Even with a small account, you can practice, build consistency, and apply what you’ve learned. We also recommend paper trading (practicing with virtual money) after the program, so by the time your capital is ready, you’ll already have the confidence and capability to manage real trades effectively.

That’s completely normal—everyone learns at their own pace. That’s why our support continues even after you’ve completed the program:

• 3 years of access to the learning materials, so you can revisit them anytime.
• Online Support Forum: Ask any investing-related questions in our online support forum—our coaches will respond within 2 working days.
• Refresher option: Re-join the workshop and tutorial for a minimal administrative fee (includes the latest materials).
• Free access to monthly and quarterly market insights sessions.
• 3 months of access to the Versatile Traders Club (for VTP students only), where coaches share their thought process and decision-making to help you maintain momentum.

We strongly encourage you to attend the workshop live for the best learning experience. However, if you really have to miss:

• You can watch the video recordings provided - workshop recordings are available for 3 months while the tutorials are for 3 years
• You can postpone to the next intake - you have 1 year time to complete the program upon enrolment, you just need to inform us 2 weeks in advance before the workshop starts for postponement

There's rarely a "perfect time" to start - what matters most is taking the first step and making it happen.

You will have 1 year to complete all your enrolled programs, hence you can postpone it to the next intake. We have 4 intakes in a year, each intake is every 2-3 months. All postponement requests must be submitted in writing to support@beyondinsights.net, at least 2 weeks before the intake starts. If the notice given is less than 5 business days, a postponement fee will apply.

Exception: If the postponement is due to illness, urgent work assignments or bereavement of an immediate family member, 50% of the postponement fee may be waived - provided valid supporting documents are submitted.

Yes, you can. If you’d like to cancel, you may do so by emailing us at support@beyondinsights.net within 5 business days of your enrolment. We’ll refund your payment after deducting admin and processing fees. No refund is applicable if it is after 5 business days as course access or materials have already been delivered. However, you're welcome to transfer your enrolment to another person by sending us a written request to the same email. 

There’s no fixed deadline, but seats are limited per intake and they are filling up pretty fast. Once you complete your payment, we’ll secure your seat for the nearest available intake. If the intake is full, we’ll then slot you into the next one (usually within 2 to 3 months).

That said, the bigger cost is actually the cost of waiting. With the rising cost of living and ongoing inflation, every month of delay means missed opportunities to grow and protect your wealth.

Refresher fees vary depending on the program. For online sessions, it’s typically RM120 to RM150 per day, and there’s an additional top-up if you choose to join a physical session. You’re also welcome to re-join as many times as you like, you’ll just have to pay the refresher fee each time you attend. In addition, each refresher gives you access to the latest course materials, templates, and watchlists. Your access to the Online Learning Library will also be renewed to support your continued learning.

Yes, we also accept debit card and FPX too. You can choose the payment method in the checkout page after choosing which program you'd like to go for.

You will need a stable internet connection, laptop / desktop with a second monitor at least of 24 inches, basic tech skills such as

• Using an internet browse
• Navigating Microsoft Excel
• Accessing your personal email and Facebook account

If you are not familiar with these yet, we recommend getting a bit of practice beforehand to ensure a smooth learning experience.

Yes, after your enrolment is successful, you’ll receive access to our Online Learning Portal (OLP). It includes pre-requisite videos and step-by-step guides to help you set up your trading platform and broker account. All you need is a laptop and internet connection to follow the instructions. 

All platforms that we use as teaching tools have free versions, and for most students, the basic features are more than enough. If you prefer advanced functionalities later on, optional paid upgrades are available — but they’re not required to get started.
